Dr. Lance Bergstrom, an eye surgeon from Fargo, ND, has been coming to Pignon annually since 2012. His team provides eye screenings, eyeglass and sunglass dispensing, cataract surgery, glaucoma and medical treatment of eye diseases to over 1,200 residents of the Pignon area.
A family of organizations led by people in countries around the world who have a similar vision of taking Christ’s love into the most remote places on earth. MAF-US collaborates with their sister organizations to meet spiritual and physical needs in 37 different countries. Collectively, their fleet of 135 airplanes serves some 1,500 non-profit, churches, and humanitarian organizations.

Waller Family Eye Care (Dr. Bailey would like to but is not sure what her and Caleb’s future holds so at this moment she cannot commit) – Dr. Tara Bailey is an optometrist from Waller, TX who screens the students eyes and dispenses prescription eyeglasses at our nine primary schools around Pignon.
The Bridge (formerly Meredith Drive Reformed Church) – Over the past several decades, this congregation from Des Moines, IA has served in many ways around Pignon including the building and naming of one of our nine Christian primary schools.
CRUDEM – Hôpital Sacré Coeur (HSC) is a private hospital in the North of Haiti. Located in the town of Milot. This hospital has provided service for almost 30 years. HSC and our hospital in Pignon (HBP) have partnered many times to help patients in need. Their moto: Creating a healthier Haiti, one dignified life at a time.
World Health Partnerships – a non-profit organization committed to providing medical care and mental health education to allow people in underserved countries the foundation for improved physical, mental, and spiritual lives.
Interplast – a group of like-minded people sharing a spirit for redistributing medical resources through direct care of persons who do not have access to surgery, the education of the professionals already involved, and the development of valid research applicable to improving these conditions.
